Re: Ghost Adventures

Oliver laughed. "Humble is a pretty good word for it. Its hardly bigger than a dorm room," he admitted, getting back in his car and driving to the nearest pizza joint, though it only took a few minutes and they were back on the road again. "So, tell me about yourself. I mean, we've kinda just been goofing off all day, but, like, what are your hobbies? Do you work or go to school or anything?"

"I am a barista of the highest quality at my local Starbucks, and in my free time I study weird !@#$ like ghosts," Sean laughed, though he did wish he had a job that was a little less menial. He held the pizza in his lip, resisting the temptation to just yank a slice out right there. "I'm living that broke kid life, but aren't we all?"

Oliver snorted. "At least youtube means that I don't have to work retail," he said with a grin. "Maybe I'll even build up enough of a following to not have to live in my !@#$ hole. Pretty sure everyone would be amused by you."

"Ah, you wound me, using me for money! But seriously, if this actually works well I'm quitting and never stepping foot in one of those hells again. I can't even look at coffee the same way anymore." Sean snorted, hoping that maybe demonic charisma was an actual thing, and that he could get Oliver and himself decent paychecks.

"So what about you? Is ghost hunting your passion and your job? Or do you have a secret love for basket weaving?"

"Ghost hunting is my job, yeah. Its enough to keep me fed and fill my gas tank," Oliver hummed. "I've been thinking about picking up a second job, though, since I'm barely getting by. But, uh, as for hobbies, I crochet. Not basket weave," he admitted, flushing a bit at the admittance. "I like to sew, too, but I'm not great at it."

"Oh my god. Oh my god make me the tackiest hat you can create I will never ask for anything else," Sean gasped, immediately wanting a creation of Oliver's, something touched by his soul to hold onto. "Oh! Here's a question for you; ya ever try and do that evp stuff at your house?"

"No? My apartment is, like, only ten years old and I don't think anyone died in my unit," Oliver explained. "I never thought to look for spirits in my own place." He pulled up outside an apartment complex, parking and starting to grab his equipment from the van.

"You mean you don't want to be the apartment new buyers find satanic !@#$ in?" Sean asked rhetorically, helping with the equipment while mostly looking at the building, scoping out the area. "Come, let us eat while I tell you while inviting random ghouls into your home is the best thing to do,"

"I think you mean the worst thing to do. Remember, I talked to a demon today," Oliver said, still a bit shaken by the whole thing as he dragged his things into his first floor apartment. He wasn't lying when it was hardly bigger than a dorm; the kitchen was barely a counter, a sink, and a stove, while the living room held a desk and a couple of bean bag chairs. "Mi casa es su casa, and all that," Oliver said, carefully arranging his equipment by the desk.

"Dude, this is like a tiny house. Also, I totally forgot about that, you're right, demons are a no," Sean dropped the pizza on the single counter, trying not to wince at negative mention of demons and instead thinking of how his apartment was probably about the same size.
